What we do:

The mission of the Grants Department is to identify, apply for, and manage federal, State, and private funding for projects that improve quality of life in Hammond. Related to this mission, the Grants Department liaisons on behalf of other City departments with grantors, cultivates and collaborates with a wide range of partners, offers advice to other local governments and nonprofits seeking grants, performs project-focused and community-wide outreach, and conducts informational workshops.
