Rogers Moore Parkway closed through Monday

The Rogers Moore Parkway will be closed through Wednesday as crews make emergency repairs to that roadway.

Hammond Mayor Mayson Foster said parish crews were working on the parkway earlier this week when they discovered the need to complete further improvements to the roadbed.

Crews have blocked the area of Rogers Moore between N. Morrison all the way to Harden Drive. Local access to Lincoln Park subdivision through Harden Drive will be permitted, but all other users will be detoured.

Foster said that weather permitting, the closure is expected to last until Wednesday, March 6th.
